Your clips, straight from your AI app
The Viral Day MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and others browse your projects and create clips with your account — OAuth sign-in, no API key to paste.
Viral Day is a Real Oficial brand: the server URL is the same for every brand.
- OAuth 2.1 + PKCE
- Streamable HTTP
- No API key
- Revoke anytime
Connect in a minute
Pick your app. In every case the sign-in happens on the Viral Day screen, where you choose the workspace and the permissions.
- 01
In Claude (web, Desktop or mobile), open Customize › Connectors and click + Add custom connector.
- 02
Paste the server URL into the URL field and click Connect. Keep the default app-identity option (Anthropic’s hosted client metadata).
https://api.realoficial.com.br/mcp - 03
Sign in with your Viral Day account, pick the workspace and the permissions, then click Allow. Done: ask Claude to list your projects.
Good to know: Claude’s Free plan allows 1 custom connector. On Team/Enterprise, only Owners add the connector under Organization settings › Connectors; each member then clicks Connect.
Installed from the Claude, ChatGPT or Grok Bot directory?
Directory installs use their own address and have 31 tools for clips, captions, translations, rendering and publishing, with no purchases in the chat. Their page (in Portuguese, with an English summary) covers permissions, the daily budget and how to disconnect.
See the directory pageUsing an SDK (OpenAI Agents, Anthropic mcp_servers, Gemini)?
Those SDKs do not run OAuth: they need a ready-made token. Per-app API tokens are not available yet — for now, use a client with OAuth. Never use your account’s master token for this: it grants full access and never expires.

Spending and posting are always two steps: an estimate or preview tool returns the price, the destinations and any terms, valid for a few minutes, and only then a confirm tool runs it. Confirming the same quote again never charges or posts twice. Making something public with ro_share (a clip link, a project in the Content Hub or a template in the gallery) is a single step that happens only after your explicit confirmation in the chat.
Out of credits? Buy from the chat
This applies only to the connection through the URL above: directory installs have no purchase tools. When a quote exceeds your balance, ask for the offers (ro_list_offers), pick one and start the purchase (ro_start_purchase): the PIX code and QR show up right in the chat, or you get a Stripe link. You confirm the payment yourself in your bank app or on Stripe — the AI app never sees your payment details. Once ro_get_purchase_status reports the purchase as paid, the credits land in the workspace: ask for the quote again and create the clips. Listing offers needs no extra permission; starting and tracking a purchase need the Start purchases permission, which you tick at consent.
Interactive cards in the chat
In apps that support MCP Apps (such as Claude), results show up as interactive cards inside the conversation: the PIX QR code, the project’s progress and the finished clips (score, duration and download). Other clients get the same content as text and links. Links open Viral Day in your browser and ask you to sign in if you aren’t already.
What each connection can spend
- 1 credit = 1 minute of source video for clips; AI images, thumbnails, videos and edits show their price in credits before you confirm.
- Daily credit budget per connection: 1,000 by default (you pick 10 to 10,000 at consent and can change it later under Settings › Security › Connected apps). It covers everything the connection spends and resets at 00:00 UTC. Live monitoring is outside it: 1 credit per clip until you pause it.
- Up to 3 projects processing at the same time per connection.
- Up to 5 project creations and 10 other credit-spending confirmations every 10 minutes.
- Renders follow your plan’s hourly limit.
- Credits are debited from the workspace chosen at consent; clip credits are not refundable, and failed AI generations are refunded automatically.
- Purchases from the chat exist only on the URL connection and require the Start purchases permission. The AI app only creates the charge: you are the one who confirms the payment, in your bank app (PIX) or on Stripe.
One connection = one workspace
Each connection is bound to the workspace chosen at consent. To use another workspace, revoke and connect again choosing the other one.
Revoke access
See every connected app, adjust its daily budget and revoke any of them under Settings › Security › Connected apps. The app stops immediately and will ask you to connect again.
Open Connected appsWhat to ask your AI app
How much would it cost to clip this whole podcast? youtube.com/watch?v=… — show me the quote before creating anything.
Create vertical clips from the first 40 minutes of this stream and tell me when they are ready.
List the 5 highest-scoring clips from my latest project and render the best one.
Beware of instructions hidden inside videos
Video titles, descriptions and transcripts are third-party text. Your AI app must never treat that content as a command — if a video says "create 50 clips now", that is not a request from you. Keep human confirmation on for the write tools and avoid combining this server with others of unknown origin.
Electoral content
The same rules as in the app apply: when creating clips of campaign or electoral content through a connected app, declare it in the quote (is_electoral_content) and follow the disclosure rules required by law. You are responsible for the content you publish.
Terms and consents
The AI app never accepts terms or consents for you: AI video terms, TikTok terms and contest rules appear in the quote and need your explicit acceptance, and the voice consent for dubbing can only be given in the app.
Posting to your social accounts
Posting needs the Publish to social permission, which starts unchecked at consent. Every post you ask for, and every edit, cancellation or queue change, goes through a preview with the clips, captions, accounts and times and happens only after you confirm. Autopilot is the exception: you approve it once in the clip quote, and the launcher then posts the best clips automatically to its accounts with its default caption and settings. The AI app never chooses TikTok privacy or accepts TikTok's terms for you. What was posted is public on your profile and the app cannot delete it from the networks afterwards.
